Welcome to Unlock My Job! This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have — across our website and services.
Last updated: 5 August 2026
Unlock My Job is operated by Hireloft Private Limited ("Unlock My Job", "we", "us", "our"). This policy covers all Unlock My Job products and services, including our website, dashboard, and browser extension (together, the "Service").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If anything is unclear, write to us at tech@unlockmyjob.com.
Your name, email, phone number, and location when you register. Your CV content, work history, education, skills, target roles, and answers to profile questions when you build your profile. Any messages you send our support team. Payment happens through a trusted payment processor; we never see or store your card details.
When you choose to save a job posting to your queue, we store that posting — title, company, description, and application link. Nothing is saved from pages you merely browse. No click, no save.
Every connection below is optional, explained at the moment you set it up, and reversible from your dashboard settings. When you connect an account, we record the date, time, and scope of your consent so there is always a clear record of what you agreed to.
Standard technical logs when you use our website and dashboard: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, timestamps, and diagnostic data. We use cookies on our own site to keep you signed in and remember your settings; your browser can refuse them, though sign-in requires them. If you install our browser extension, it operates only on job pages where you use it — it does not track, log, or transmit your general browsing, and it carries no browsing analytics.
We use your data to:
Two things we don't do: we don't sell personal data, and we don't use your data for third-party advertising.
The platforms you can connect (such as LinkedIn and Google) are independent services with their own terms of use and privacy policies, which apply to your accounts on those platforms. Connecting an account to Unlock My Job is your choice, made through the controls in your dashboard, and every action performed through a connection is one you scheduled and approved.
To protect your accounts and keep the Service dependable, we may adjust, pause, or discontinue a connected-account feature at any time — for example, in response to changes those platforms make, or to safeguard your account. Where we can, we'll tell you before a feature changes. Disconnecting an account at any time stops all related activity and deletes the stored credentials.
We may employ third-party companies and services to facilitate our Service, to provide the Service on our behalf, or to perform Service-related functions — for example cloud hosting, AI-assisted document processing, secure execution of the account actions you schedule, payment processing, customer support tooling, and analytics of how our own website and dashboard are used.
These third parties have access to your data only to perform these specific tasks on our behalf, and are contractually obligated not to disclose it or use it for any other purpose. Your data is never sold, and never shared with anyone for advertising or marketing of their own.
Payments are handled by a trusted, industry-standard payment processor; your card details go directly to them and never touch our servers. Any analytics we use apply only to our Service — never to your wider browsing.
Account and profile data: for as long as your account exists, plus whatever the law requires after that — for example, billing and tax records we must retain, and records needed to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.
Connected-account credentials: only while the connection is active. Disconnecting an account, or deleting your Unlock My Job account, removes them.
Technical logs: short retention periods unless a longer one is needed for security investigation or legal reasons.
When data is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymize it so it can no longer identify you.
If you're in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA) gives you the right to:
If you're in the UAE or elsewhere, we honour the same access, correction, and deletion requests.
Withdrawing consent. You can withdraw any consent as easily as you gave it. Withdrawal stops future processing that relied on that consent — which may mean the dependent feature stops working — but doesn't affect the lawfulness of anything done before you withdrew.
To exercise any right, email tech@unlockmyjob.com. We'll acknowledge your request promptly and respond within the timelines required by applicable law, and in any case within 30 days.
Beyond the service providers in Section 4, we would disclose personal data only:
Credentials for connected accounts get our highest level of protection: strong encryption in storage and in transit, with access tightly restricted inside our team. The rest of your data is protected with the same encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and routine security reviews.
No system is perfectly secure and we won't pretend otherwise. If a breach ever affects your personal data, we will act quickly to contain it, notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law, and tell you clearly what happened and what we're doing about it.
Unlock My Job is for people 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger; if you believe we have, contact us and we'll delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. For material changes, we'll email you and post a prominent notice before the change takes effect, and update the date at the top. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
For privacy questions, data requests, or grievances under the DPDPA:

We acknowledge grievances promptly and aim to resolve them within 30 days.
